Room18 take-two. How is it possible to innovate on something as typologically established as the hotel room? For this proposal we attempt to re-map the succession of privacy from the city to the room, by creating interstitial spaces usually encountered in small scale domestic architecture. These zones create a gradual passage from the public sphere into a contemporary walled garden; the archetype of all real and imagined paradisiacal sanctuaries.
