Organised by The Bartlett's LOBBY magazine, 'Amphibious Habitats' competition called for proposals for living spaces that operated at the limit between earth and water. We invented a scenario where amphibious living is not merely a choice but a social necesity. 'Trans Human Topologies' is a fictional company, designing habitable topologies for future, evolutionary divergent humans. The focus of our proposal was a physical model, built almost exclusively out of material found in 100 Yen shops around Tokyo and populated with trans-human species.
